Peek-a-boo, I see you.
The Jack in the Pulpit spies the Trillium in a woods close, close to home! Some wildflower whimsy for the letter P on ABC Wednesday.
To peer at more P's, go to the blog: ABC Wednesday.
Ah .. now I see why our own wild arums are called 'English Jack' as one of their many nicknames! They don't have that wonderful 'pulpit' shape, but they are definitely the same family.
You got a great shot of "Jack." I also like the way you framed the flower behind it...looks like it's playing peek-a-boo in and around the Jack in the Pulpit. Did you intend to do that?
Lovely photo and delightful post for the day! Have a great week -- well, what's left of it!

ReplyDeleteGood play on the "P"-Wednesday theme...
The Jack-In-The-Pulpit has always reminded «Louis» of a cobra...
That's a great perspective and lovely shot for P.
ReplyDeleteP is for palm tree

ReplyDeleteHow cool! I must check out my local forest to see if Jack-in-the Pulpit is blooming there now!
