My eye thought this was a bee on the sunflower but the camera eye caught this furry fellow. Is he a fly? Let's not be fussy or feud over his or her identity but faithfully follow those funnel-like wings -- to where I am not sure.

Fantastic capture. He is real busy.
ReplyDeleteAnd a fun, furry, fellow he is and perfect for the F Day! And I'm in the mood right now to follow most any wings! Hope your week is going well, Helen! Enjoy!

I don't know whether he be a bee or a fly. I suspect not either actually. He is beautiful with a very complex body covering. I love the clarity of the image that you have achieved. And all your F words ...
ReplyDeleteFascinating detail that you've captured.

In spite of what he may Bee, it's a very impressive macro.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture, Helen! I agree with Julie. Could bee or not.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture and reminds why its good to love where the crawlies are more benign. I'm new in town and I post from various blogs so last week my E was a 50-word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman. This week my F is a poem called The final seaside trip. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you have a good week!
