We are in the UP (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan for this Sunday's Bridge for M. Louis LaVache and other bridge friends. The AuTrain River's journey to Lake Superior is almost finished. Here M28, the road between Sault St. Marie and Wakefield, crosses the river as it begins to flow through the glorious white sand beach of AuTrain Bay.
For bridges from all over the world, please visit Louis and friends at Sunday Bridges.
Very original picture :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!
Elisa, from Argentina
Helen is it called the AuTrain because it will wind up costing the taxpayers as much as the gold (AU) in Fort Knox?
ReplyDeleteNice reflection in the water that glides by so peacefully. We were up in the UP years ago and went to see the locks in Saute St. Marie, too. Very beautiful country up there!
ReplyDeleteI hope to get up to the Sault this week.
ReplyDeleteA simple but very important bridge I guess. The water looks so still. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteOh is there some controversy re this road?
