a very furry fellow

My eye thought this was a bee on the sunflower but the camera eye caught this furry fellow.  Is he a fly?  Let's not be fussy or feud over his or her identity but faithfully follow those funnel-like wings -- to where I am not sure.

  4. I don't know whether he be a bee or a fly. I suspect not either actually. He is beautiful with a very complex body covering. I love the clarity of the image that you have achieved. And all your F words ...

  8. Lovely picture and reminds why its good to love where the crawlies are more benign. I'm new in town and I post from various blogs so last week my E was a 50-word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman. This week my F is a poem called The final seaside trip. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you have a good week!
